​​​​​​​The rapid pace of developments in today's world has increased the need for different segments of society to access computers and high-speed Internet equipment. Meanwhile, students, especially students in the fields of social sciences and communications, are increasingly using computer applications and research software and receiving news from them. Accordingly, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Tehran has equipped a center as a "computer center" to facilitate its students' access to these facilities. This center, which consists of two units on the ground floor of the main building of the faculty, meets the informatics needs of students. One of the units is equipped with 30 computers, which are dedicated to the use of classes that require computer equipment for education, and the other unit has 20 computers for general use by students. Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences can easily use this computer center to access current information and news, meet research needs, and access various sites. It should be noted that the Computer Center of the Faculty of Social Sciences provides its students with the opportunity to use scientific articles available on research sites, free of charge.
