After the first round of the Ph.D. seminar series last year, this academic year (2021-2022), the Department of Anthropology of the University of Tehran and the School of Advanced Studies in Social Science (École des hautes études en sciences- EHESS, Paris-France), and the Interdisciplinary Social Research Ph.D. program of Eötvös Loránd University-ELTE (Budapest, Hungary) are jointly launching the second year of Ph.D. seminar series.

Dear Ph.D. students,

This international Ph.D. seminar series is an unmatched opportunity for social sciences students to exchange their ideas and perspectives on contemporary social research. Each session, the students present their research in about 20 minutes, and a discussion moderated by the Professors will follow the presentations.

The language of the seminar will be English, and it will be on BigBleuButton or Zoom platform. 

Please send the extended abstracts (about 700-1000 words) to Fariba Seddighi (faribaseddighi65@gmail.com ) and CC to Mehrdad Arabestani (m.arabestani@ut.ac.ir ) before November 1, 2022. The topic might be a finished project or a report of an ongoing research project. The result of the submission will be announced on November 15.
